He was assassinated by gunfire on May 29, 2022 in Jawharke, Punjab, India at the age of 28. Career Sidhu Moose Wala was a prominent Punjabi rapper and singer who worked in a variety of genres, including hip-hop, gangsta rap, trap, hardcore hip hop, and R&B. He was known for his unique style that incorporated hip-hop, rap, and folk music. He released his first song, "G Wagon", in early 2017 after moving to Canada following his graduation from Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College in Ludhiana. He gained mainstream popularity with his 2018 track "So High". Achievements Sidhu Moose Wala was one of the most influential and successful Punjabi rappers of all time. He was the first Punjabi and Indian singer to perform at Wireless Festival. He also won four awards at the Brit Asia TV Music Awards.
